Happy Sunday & welcome everyone! I wanted to start out with something simple and basic, but also essential: Maps.
Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite movies and Iβve just started reading the books, it is said that JRR Tolkien started with writing his own language, then drawing maps, then creating his stories.
He wrote them as he went, for the Hobbit & LOTR. I believe this path is a good one to take, following the inspiration present moment by present moment, let the inspiration lead youβ¦
Starting off Iβd like to show one that I originally saw in a JonLevi vid. A huge star fort in the area which was previous where the twin towers were, and now is the new world trade center. It looks like a fort is all around this area, perhaps hence the name βWall St.β there is a wall and Wall St is quite close. Many many Tartaria gems in this area, Iβm excited to do some Tartaria Tour videos here in the coming months. Date thatβs said for this is 1600.
This map is from the NYPL and the date is recorded as from 1639, when I look into the article it says that the original of this map is from 1600. It looks like this is facing from north & is from the perspective of Manhattan looking south.
Another map same time 1639, says water color painted. Same star fort as the first pic to the left.
Interesting a revelation just came to me, right by this star fort now is a park called βBattery Park.β Thinking of the ancient batteries they had in Iraq and how we talk about tech/antiquitech. Was battery park the center of a power station, with the star fort as the axis? Just a thought.
If you wanna zoom in, hereβs the link here. 1833
Zoom here. 1863. In this map Battery Park is called The Battery.
I wonder why itβs called the battery? Perhaps the Star Forts are βBatteriesβ of some sort for these old world cities?
Hereβs some more pics of the building on The Battery, which is built on a star fortress.
Hereβs a few more NYC Maps
Look at that Star Fortress!! βοΈπ°βοΈ
Thatβs it for this one!
Today Iβm going to the Statue of Liberty for the first time & Iβve been living in NYC since 2012! Iβll definitely take lots of photos and video footage. Be sure to follow me on YouTube & Instagram to see that footage.
Iβll leave you with a few photos of the Statue of Liberty & Fort Wood:
Have a great day!! βοΈ
